Dorlesa Barmettler-Ewing

Dorlesa was born in Ennetburgen Switzerland. Her father was a dairy farmer her mother a farm wife. Dorlesa has three brothers and two sisters. She has two sons and two grand daughters. She was widowed in 1995. Here is her statement:

"I have a B.A. and a PhD. from the University of California at Berkeley, and an M.S. from CSU Hayward. My work background has invovled psychology for family, children, marriage.
I have studied portraits and life drawing with Sherie Drake and Pastel and acrylic painting with Eleanor de haas Brooks. In addition, I studied sculpture with Marianne Groh. I have attended countless workshops, including a study in 1997, in Province, France, on wax and bronze sculptures."
