"After three years of doing nothing but poured, nonobjective paintings in the early 90's, I began a series of flower paintings using the same goals--creating a mood with dramatic light and color. I've since branched out to landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, etc. I am now using soft pastels as well as traditional watercolor, poured liquid watermedia and acrylic or watercolor collage--all on paper.

My formal art training took place at California State University, Hayward, where I previously received my BA in English Literature and my teaching credential.

My paintings are represented by City Arts Gallery (Hayward), Fremont Art Gallery, and Marin Art Society Gallery (Ross). As a member of Artists 7, I show in various venues: i.e., Hayward City Hall, Sun Gallery (Hayward) and Bogle Winery (Clarksburg.)"
