Valerie Caveglia - Images in Wood

Valerie Caveglia discovered her 'artist within' during a years leave of absence from her teaching career. Inspired to try functional art using pine sticks, she developed a technique for building sturdy mirror frames. These unique, one of a kind frames create a multi-media composition reflecting design elements of other cultures as well as whimsical themes. Valerie's work is filled with imagination, expressed through a strong sense of design and color. She loves traveling to find unique items to incorporate into her art designs.

Valerie's 'images in wood' can be found in private collections in homes in Oregon, Texas, Illinois and throughout California including San Diego, Carmel, Monterey, Sonora, Lake Tahoe, Pleasanton, Berkeley and Hayward. Commissions are accepted.
